The leaves are trademarked with a velvety surface that is a unique shade of green. The underside is a magenta color. With the right light, the veins show an absolutely stunning leaf to its viewers. Our Melano come in a large, mature form as well as a small form.
Description
- LIGHT
Philodendron likes bright sunlight but does not like direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight will make the leaves turn yellow and even burn. Lack of light will cause plants to etiolation, i.e. plants grow taller faster than normal so that the stems are not sturdy, the leaves are small and the plants look pale. - WATER
Watering with sufficient water is the key for plants to grow optimally. Do watering regularly but do not make the water stagnate. The roots of the plant will rot if it is too wet. Choosing a pot that has good drainage holes is a good choice - CARE TIPS
Philodendron likes shady places. This plant likes porous media but still retains moisture. Media should not be dense because it can inhibit root growth and also causes waterlogging so that it can cause root rot. - Size
