Hoya Kerii (Hoya Love)

• LIGHT
  These heart-shaped hoyas need a lot of light to grow and thrive inside, just like succulents do. Your hoya kerrii should be placed someplace that gets daily exposure to several hours of bright, direct sunlight. Ideal windows face west or south. Adding a grow light to your setup might be a good idea if you don’t get enough natural light. For hoyas, a full-spectrum LED grow light is a fantastic option.
• WATER
  Look at the leaves to determine if your plant needs water; if they are still thick and full, they don’t; if they are thinner and slightly wrinkled, it’s time for a nice drink! To make sure the soil is entirely dry before watering, you can use a moisture meter.
• CARE TIPS
  Hoya kerrii are very slow-growing hoyas. That being said, if it’s been a few years without any significant growth then there may be something wrong with its growing conditions. First and foremost, ensure that your plant is receiving enough light. Hoya kerrii will not grow in low light conditions, and even medium light likely won’t be enough. Second, check the roots of your hoya to ensure its root system is healthy. Overwatering and underwatering can both kill the roots over time, which ultimately hinders growth. If your plant does not have much of a root system, you will likely need to propagate your plant to help it grow new roots and become established again.
