Description

Alocasia Dragon Scale, formally named Alocasia baginda ‘Dragon Scale’, has an incredible, veined texture that, imaginatively, can be said to resemble dragon scales. The leaves play their part: they are tough and pliable, and even have a hardened topside.

• Lighting: Alocasia does not like direct sunlight. Place it in a place that is not exposed to direct sunlight for hours. Direct and stinging radiation can burn leaves
• Water: Alocasia likes media that is always moist, but not too wet. The frequency of watering depends on the conditions of the growing media and the surrounding environment

How To care

Alocasia likes a shady place, moist, has good drainage with a media pH range of 6 – 7.5. Give fertilizer according to plant needs. use of slow release fertilizer every 4 – 6 months. Use a pot that is suitable for the size of the plant. Alocasia has a dormancy phase, but can be overcome by maintaining the temperature and humidity of the media and room so that it will still show its beauty at all times. Rotate the plant once a week to get light on each side for good performance. Cut the leaves that are starting to turn yellow.
